New Bank Reconciliation Feature

We’re excited to announce that our new Bank Reconciliation feature is now in Beta testing with our early adopters, ahead of a broader release planned for early next month. This release marks a major step forward as we begin to integrate Open Banking technology into EvolveGo.

Built from the ground up with Open Banking in mind, our new Bank Reconciliation feature represents a significant evolution from our current functionality. In addition to enabling Open Banking, it introduces several enhancements designed to improve the accuracy, transparency, and efficiency of your reconciliation process. Here are just a few of the powerful new features you can expect.

Statement vs Cashbook matching

An improved UI presenting bank statement entries side by side with unmatched cashbook transactions allows you to see all unreconciled items in one place, enabling you to make informed matches with all information readily available.

Suggested Matches

A new Suggested Match tool not only provides suggested matches for already posted cashbook items, but based on bank statement detail, offers the ability to post and match new cashbook items simultaneously. In the example below, the reference on a bank statement entry corresponds to an outstanding invoice and with one click, the user can initiate the receipt posting of that invoice and simultaneously match the item against the bank entry.

Post New & Add Comments

Post cashbook entries directly from the bank statement, automatically matching as you go. In addition, add comments to both bank statement and cashbook entries to record relevant notes or extra information to further assist with reconciliation.

Unmatching

Ahead of producing a formal reconciliation report, review all your matches and make any changes where necessary. Items can quickly be unmatched with ease allowing to make any amendments required.

Reconciliation audit

Providing full transparency, at transaction level review previously reconciled cashbook items to see which corresponding bank statement entries were matched against it.
